A GAC SMHI weather warning

gac-smhi-horz-alert-2 aThis message comes form GAC SMHI: A very intense low is moving NE-wards over British Isles on October 28 and causing severe weather conditions in the area between Cape Finisterre and Ireland.

Expect STORM (perhaps VIOLENT STORM) and sign sea 7-10 meters, maximum wave height around 15 meters on October 27 and 28. In English Channel and in North Sea also risk STORM and high sea.

Hence, please be prepared for some delayed voyages in western European waters.

We recommend that you keep updated on the expected development on SMHI Fleetweb, showing the recommended/intended routes of your vessels.
