Stormy Shipping Stories…err News

The second Autumn www.allaboutshipping.co.uk live presentation of  week 43 by John Faraclas covered:

The stormy weather in England and Wales; the equally stormy shipping/chartering markets with the BDI ending down to 1671 points (18/10) and today down at 1, 619, confirming once again the prediction of the site! Good time though for low priced newbuildings and brand new second hand tonnage!

More stormy issues are the bankruptcies looming in the background, the Lambedusa saga expanding, the stormy thorny saga of Hellenic Shipyards in Greece, the eavesdropping  with Spain joining the Germany and France and the NSA supposed monitoring and to and fro accusations…. What is the importance of securing the maritime communications as monitoring can cause havoc and ultimately war, repeat war!

Finally the good news for CSR following the successful Capital Link 3rd international Conference in London being not just an advantage, but the advantage in Shipping and Offshore business.

We look forward to your written comments.
