International law firm, Hill Dickinson has appointed two new partners to head up its existing Aviation team in London. Joanna Kolatsis and Saleema Brohi will join the firm at the beginning of March.

Joanna and Saleema are both established experts in the aviation sector and were previously partners in the boutique aviation firm Gates and Partners which merged with Kennedys in June 2013.

The dedicated Aviation team will service the commercial, regulatory and insurance aspects while working closely with other teams in the firm, including insurance, yachts, company commercial and travel. Hill Dickinson is able to provide a full service for its clients covering all aspects of cruise, ferry, air and land travel.

Maria Pittordis, head of travel, says of the appointment: “Joanna and Saleema are extremely well regarded and experienced aviation and travel lawyers and we are looking forward to them joining the firm. Their experience and excellent client relationships will enhance the already strong travel and leisure capability of Hill Dickinson.

“Their expertise will strengthen the firm’s skills in the aviation market and complement the casualty offering to the travel and aviation insurance industry at a senior level. This appointment reaffirms our strategy to expand our services to meet our client’s needs.”

Joanna’s and Saleema’s addition to the team in London will bring the total number of lawyers in Aviation and travel to more than 20 lawyers.
