By Marianne Shaw, Jeanius Consulting Ltd
PR and Marketing specialists Jeanius Consulting, which has already secured a solid reputation amongst its stable of high profile shipping clients, is facing an exciting new challenge with its announcement to assist Regal Sports Press in securing corporate sponsorship for the forthcoming Football for Heroes charity football match.
The sporting event in aid of Help for Heroes is set to draw in the crowds with a team of retired footballing legends taking on a team of military personnel at The Ricoh Arena, Coventry on 4 May. There will also be a family fun area which will be available before and after the match and will feature a number of military-led activities.
Corporations will be able to sponsor as much or as little as they wish, from team shirts or shorts to awards handed out after the match, display rights to TV and interview backdrops and tables at the post match dinner and auction. Regal Sport Press, part of the Regal group, provide a bespoke service specialising in sport and football event programmes and will be supplying the souvenir programme for the event and advertising opportunities are also available.
Jean Winfield, Jeanius Consulting Managing Director, said: “We are delighted to be working alongside Regal Sports Press in securing commercial sponsorships and advertising for this hugely worthwhile event. Help for Heroes is a charity that makes a tremendous difference to the lives of former servicemen and women and Football for Heroes event will be an amazing day raising both charity awareness and valuable funds.”

In addition, Jeanius Consulting is also expanding its UK premises. The agency which was set up by business development and marketing specialist Jean Winfield in late September 2013, has grown at such a rapid pace she has had to double the size of her team and office space.
Speaking of the good start the company has had, Jean Winfield, Managing Director, said: “Setting up again in business can be a daunting prospect in the current climate but if you have a great idea, focus, drive and an experienced team working with you, it’s possible to thrive. We are extremely fortunate to share the same ideas and levels of enthusiasm to succeed and are enjoying working in both international shipping and other more local sectors.”
