oslo bors01/10/2014 – Oslo Børs VPS introduces T+2 with effect from 6 October.

This means that securities will be settled on the investor’s account in VPS two days after the transaction has taken place and consequently that the seller will receive payment after two days.

Current market practice is that this process will take three days (T+3).

All securities on Oslo Børs, Oslo Axess, Oslo Connect and Nordic ABM will move to T+2. The transition to a T+2 settlement period happens at the same time in the Nordic and several European countries.
