From 12 December 2014 to 12 June 2015, construction works for a bridge over King’s Dock at Keppel Bay Drive will be carried out.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore’s Port Marine Notice No.137 of 2014, the workls will be conducted 24 hours daily – including Sundays and Public Holidays – within the working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum):

1) 1° 15.830’N / 103° 48.951’E

2) 1° 15.819’N / 103° 49.023’E

3) 1° 15.779’N / 103° 49.019’E

4) 1° 15.801’N / 103° 48.986’E

5) 1° 15.806’N / 103° 48.947’E

The construction of bridge will entail installation of temporary piles, steel staging, marine boreholes and reinforced concrete work using crane barge.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:

(a) keep well clear and not to enter the working area;

(b) maintain a proper lookout;

(c) proceed at a safe speed & navigate with caution;

(d) maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 05 (Cruise Bay Control);

and

(e) communicate with Cruise Bay Control on VHF Channel 05 for assistance, if required.
