FEPORT logoFEPORT which represents the interests of the terminal operators and stevedoring companies performing operations and carrying out activities in the seaports of the European Union has held its General Assembly today in Brussels.

All members representing national associations but also company members ie more than
1700 companies were present in Brussels for the meeting. Besides, discussing the main
issues at stake for the cargo handling sector, the General Assembly meeting allowed the
members to exchange about the 2015 Roadmap and also discover the new FEPORT Web
site http://www.feport.eu .

The General Assembly meeting has been preceded the day before by an event with guests
representing different institutions (European Commission (cabinet and services),
European Parliament and Council through the Permanent Representations to the EU).
In his welcoming speech to the guests, M. Bonz, President of FEPORT has mentioned that

FEPORT is looking forward to cooperating with the different institutions and wished good
luck to the new Commissioner Bulc and her team as well as to the new European
Parliament.
