GAC 01072014Crew changes discouraged due to limited hotel availability
August 21, 2015, United States, all ports

There will not be hotel rooms available in the Philadelphia area during the period of 20th to 30th September 2015, as Pope Francis will be visiting the area.

This could create some issues with crew travel, so all concerned is advised to keep close watch on vessels ETB and ETD to avoid any problems. It is strongly recommended that crew changes be avoided during this time period.

Also, road travel will be obstructed due to some major highways and bridges getting closed or down sized travel lanes.
