SingPost to roll out next phase of ezyCommerce solutions globally 

Singapore,  30 September 2015 – Singapore Post (SingPost) won the 2015 Digital Innovation of the Year award at the Postal Technology International (PTI) Awards Ceremony that concluded in Paris, France, on 29 September. This global award recognizes companies that have incorporated digital technology in their operations to improve their service offerings and connect with their customers.

As an example of applying technology in its business operations, SingPost will be rolling out the next phase of its cloud-based, fully integrated end-to-end eCommerce fulfilment solution, ezyCommerce globally through regional launches and white label partnerships. Introduced in March 2015, ezyCommerce supports and enables SMEs to implement their digital strategies to grow their online business across multiple marketplaces and countries. This easy-to-use solution handles everything from order to last mile delivery and returns. It allows sellers who own multiple online sales channels to consolidate and outsource their order fulfillment (warehouse and delivery) through a single platform.

SingPost launched ezyCommerce in Australia in August 2015 and is implementing it in other countries, such as Hong Kong and beyond.

In addition, SingPost is white labeling ezyCommerce to make it available to other postal operators around the world. By working with and teaming up with other postal operators, SingPost could share R&D costs and expertise, and branded by the postal operator, to make it even better for the global market place.

We think of eCommerce logistics as a backbone to delivering a seamless end customer experience, ” says Dr Sascha Hower, Group COO of Singapore Post and CEO of Quantium Solutions, an international arm of SingPost for eCommerce logistics.

SingPost’s transformation into a leading e-commerce logistics provider over the past few years is showing in its numbers. Group revenue has grown from S$579m (US$410m) in FY 2011/12 to S$920m (US$652m) in FY 2014/15, and 28% of all revenue is currently e-commerce related.
