Sofia Spanopoulou has graduated from the Faculty of Theatre Studies in the School of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with a degree ranked as very good, having studied for five years, including six months under the Erasmus programme at Charles University in Prague.

Her internship in a theatre in Greece was a big factor in inspiring her to become involved in the field of events management and organisation. So she decided to do her Master’s in Tourism Marketing Management in order to combine her passion for theatre with the theory of management, a formula that eventually will allow her to offer her blend of expertise to the market place for event management.

Her unstoppable desire to participate in varying activities and social events has underpinned her determination to embark on this career path, and she is now studying in the MSc Tourism Marketing Management Programme at Strathclyde University in Glasgow. At the same time Sofia is attending related seminars and taking part in the organisation of conferences as a volunteer.

We hope soon to have Sofia on board with shipping industry events…
