Thanks to the efforts made by Capt. Antonio M. Padrón y Santiago, “IMO Maritime Ambassador” and Maritime Authority of Tenerife, the Deck Cadet, Adrew Lliso Perales, embarks on the passenger ship HARMONY V from Variety Cruises, to perform his training period at sea.

It is necessary acknowledge the support of the staff from Berge Maritima in Tenerife as well as the friendly disposition of Capt. Vasilis Panagiotou, Captain of the ship HARMONY V.

We are all aware about the existing problem with Spanish nautical students because many of them spend several months without finding possibilities in order to perform their training period at sea, a fact which has become a priority objective of the IMO Maritime Ambassador.

Just get save someone … even just one … is a worth effort.
