Following some large deals secured and delivered during 2015, Seven Oceans now looks ahead to a further exciting year of market share growth, and the further roll out of its quality software offering.

The most recent project is the implementation of a mega application for a fleet of 150 gas vessels and oil tankers trading globally. This involved implementing Seven Oceans QMS, a quality management system, comprising of document management, risk assessment, reporting of all inspections and audits, accident and near-miss workflows, management of change scenarios and all aspects of improvements management. The software ensures that the regulatory parameters are continually and proactively addressed.  With Seven Oceans aware of the importance of ship management KPIs and how ship managers often struggle to measure them based on their real time performance, the application allows, for the first time, a tangible look at the KPI achievements too.

Seven Oceans QMS, is  web-based application that allows access to the office user anytime and anywhere. The platform is responsive which entails that it is available to the users on all handheld devices as well.

Main Vessel-Office-Vessel workflows, tailored to the vessel type(Gas Vessel/Oil Tanker)  include:

  • Inspections
  • Audits
  • Improvements Management
  • Management of Change
  • Risk Assessment
  • Document Management

Likewise, the new offering, Seven Oceans Logistics, was recently successfully implemented to cover entire bulk transportation logistics supply chain, enabling a large global player to improve their systems handling cargo sourcing, trading of cargo contracts, chartering of vessels, operations, shipping audit, voyage finance and accounting. Additional modules include – Vessel Re-let, Cargo Re-let, Time and Period Charter Reconciliation and Management of COA.

With this product offering, we have managed to extend the capability of the software to the entire bulk transport supply chain from sourcing to delivery, the company was quoted saying. “With these two products being at the very forefront of the Seven Oceans business offering as they start 2016, opportunities for working with businesses across the globe will only grow further. Seven Oceans will not only be able to offer excellent software systems and packages but also a personal, customer focused experience, working with you to create systems that promote efficiency, compliance and measurability.”
