Captain Padrón visits the STSNS at the University Cantabria

Capt. Antonio M. Padrón, “IMO Maritime Ambassador”, visited the SUPERIOR TECHNICAL SCHOOL OF NAUTICAL STUDIES of the University of Cantabria, in Santander

During the visit, the IMO Maritime Ambassador, held a meeting with Mr. José R. Sancristóbal Mateo, Director of the STS OF NAUTICAL STUDIES and Ms. Emma Diaz Ruiz de Navamanuel, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, who expressed their support to the “Boarding Program for Maritime Cadets” and their intend for working in coordination in this regard.

The SUPERIOR TECHNICAL SCHOOL OF NAUTICAL STUDIES is a public education center belonging to the University of Cantabria. The training offered by the center includes degree courses, official masters, doctoral programs and postgraduate studies. Among its training catalog are included: the degree of Marine Engineering, degree in Nautical Engineering and Maritime Transport, the degree in Maritime Engineering, the Master´s Degree in Nautical Engineering and Maritime Management, and the Master’s Degree in Marine Engineering, among other specialized training.
