Currently Portugal’s Lisnave has five vessels under repair at the Mitrena Yard in Setúbal.

From Venezuela’s PDV Marina SA’s, the 47,144 dwt´s product tanker Luisa Caceres de Arismendi is finishing  an extensive maintenance and repairs.

From Teekay Shipping the 126,995 dwt tanker Stena Alexita is carrying out a general maintenance/overhauling, including hull treatment, bow and stern thrusters, tailshafts, bow loading system, steering gear, volatile organic compound system, installation of new HIPAP sensor, main engines and 50 electric motors.

Also in the yard are the 102.926 dwt crude oil tanker Eagle Texas from AET Singapore, undergoing overhaul of her four azimuth thrusters and one tunnel thruster for the DP2 system. For that purpose was necessary to build higher blocks in drydock – 4.3 m high. Apart from normal drydocking and thruster/DP related works, there are two major jobs – main deck full blasting and painting (10,000 m2) and partition of fuel oil tanks (MGO Tank in new generator room).

The Eagle Texas is the second specially-designed MCV tanker to be repaired by Lisnave over recent weeks after the sistership Eagle Louisiana being successfully completed.

Also in dock for general maintenance works are Nissho Odyssey’s 46,646 dwt product tanker High Beam and V Ships (UK), 50,378 dwt product tanker Overseas Milos, that is carrying out the classic drydock and maintenance works, also the partial installation of a new water ballast treatment system which included a new deck house.
