Capt. Antonio M. Padrón y Santiago, “IMO Maritime Ambassador” and Maritime Authority of Tenerife visited the CLUB NAUTICO PUERTO COLON, in Adeje (Tenerife), interested in the development of nautical tourism in the area

The CLUB NAUTICO PUERTO COLÓN, founded in 1987, is located in the south of Tenerife, in Costa Adeje, which is among the most important tourist centers of the island.

The harbor, protected by a curved breakwater, has capacity for more than 360 boats and has 237 berths in dry conditions.

The area has excellent climatic conditions, with average temperatures throughout the year ranging from 22 to 27 degrees, making it an ideal place for boat docking or as a transit point for the subsequent crossing of the Atlantic.

During the visit, were present:

  • Salvador García, President of the CLUB NAUTICO PUERTO COLON
  • Adolfo Alonso, Councilor for Education, Culture and Sports of the Town Hall of Adeje
  • Andrés Pérez, Councilor for Beaches and Transport of the Town Hall of Adeje
  • Emerito Rodríguez, from the Chamber of Commerce of Tenerife.
