FEMETE supports the Boarding Program of Maritime Cadets in Tenerife

Capt. Antonio M. Padrón y Santiago, “IMO Maritime Ambassador” and Maritime Authority of Tenerife, held a meeting with Mr. Alberto Villalobos, President of FEMETE, who expressed his support to the “Boarding Program of Maritime Cadets”

The meeting was also attended by Ms. Carmen Fernández and Mr. Erasmo Cabrera, representatives of the Nautical and Recreational Association of the Canary Islands (ASNAUTICA), a member of FEMETE which also collaborates with the “Boarding Program for Maritime Cadets”.

The Provincial Federation of Metalworkers and New Technologies of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (FEMETE) was founded in 1979 with the aim of defending the interests of the sector’s companies in Tenerife.

The Federation offers numerous services and advantages, such as subsidies, legal aid, support for occupational risks prevention, negotiation of collective agreements, training courses and workshops, legal, labor and tax advice, as well as a wide variety of discounts and preferential treatment in trade, travels, insurance, telephony, etc.
