The BDI’s (Baltic Dry Index) fell 32 points since yesterday and now at 1,223 points raises difficult questions; Geopolitics too are getting far worse in all fronts. John Faraclas’ midweek report:

The Capers saw its BCI 2014 lose 153 points in a day of major losses; at 2,229 sends mixed messages of CAUTION

The Panamaxes fall was contained with the BPI reading 1,371 – minus six points…

The Supras’ BSI minus one standing at 880 points, and

The Handies’ BHSI was the only one with a plus; 543 – plus one!!!

All in all a falling Dry Market with incalculable repercussions if it continues…

The Wets too on a falling modus; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 778 – minus three and 704 – minus 35 points respectively…

The price of WTI just over US$ 50… at US$ 50.79…. not a nice rise.

On the Geopolitical front now:  the MIGRANTS issue still on top followed by the Wars in Syria and Iraq – a more than a terrible situation with ISIS still at large. Ultra –caution as things will for sure get off hand very soon! The chemicals allegedly against opposition fighters and civilians in western Syria –  at Idlib region, will cause an upheaval against President Assad if proved his forces did it. If not, then provocateurs are liable and let’s see the outcome… The Syrian saga will for sure get worse as there are too many “vested” interests in the area attracting the USA, Russia, France, the UK, Turkey, the Kurds and others.

Turkey prepares its public for strange times ahead from both internal – Referendum, and external issues and we suggest to be on guard…

Next door Greece is in a very difficult position too… Will the Government fall? Are elections needed? Can the opposition or a coalition deliver? Is an Ecumenical government feasible and can the country be governed? On any proposed issue we say: NO! Greece needs an ARISTOS team to run the country for ten years and then elections can take place. Be ultra-vigilant on events that might take place. The IMF and the EU are to blame as well petty party Greek politics!

Next door FYROM is a country that some in the European Union wish to invite and join… For sure these guys and dolls are totally unaware of what is really happening. It is despicable to see this country being referred as Macedonia from A1 news agencies, Channels etc. Now you can see who triggers the mess: the Press and its Master’s voice. SHAME!!!

BREXIT raises too many questions and it seems that all are against the United Kingdom, particularly in the EU! UKIP’s Nigel Farage called the MEP’s mafia and then gangsters when confronted/challenged by Antonio Tajani, the European Parliament’s Italian president. It all started on the GBP 52 billion to be imposed as well as the issue of Gibraltar and then Scotland. It looks it is going to be a very messy and complicated divorce. We believe that if you have capable legal advisors and A1 negotiators’ team,  all will be fine and merry for both sides…

That’s all for tonight and be on guard for any eventuality!
