Port charges to rise

The private operator of Port Kembla, NSW Ports, advises that from 1 July 2017, all charges will increase by 3% except the Navigation Service Charge (Tonnage Dues) which rise by 1.9%.

The Navigation Service Charge (Tonnage Dues) which is presently charged $0.81 for ships loading coal and conduction cargo operations at BlueScope Berths will increase to $0.82. For all other berths the charges will increase to $.049.
