Celebrating ten successful years in business, CESG recently hosted its official 10th birthday party in the stunning location of the 13th century Castle Cornet, Guernsey.

The Castle, that has guarded Guernsey for some 800 years, played host to valued guests from around the globe, some of whom travelled in from as far away as Dubai, Malta, Zurich and Aberdeen.

Enjoying glorious sunshine, a lone bagpiper and an amazing magician entertained guests as they networked and enjoyed the fabulous views across the port and sea.

Welcoming guests, Neil Carrington, CEO, said, “Our success to date is the result of our clients and their loyalty to us, and of course our employees. I have often been heard to say, that every client is our favourite client, and whilst this may sound a bit facetious, it is actually quite true! The client relationship is very important to us, and because of the nature of our work, we are all more effective working as one team, something that we achieve most of the time. So whilst this evening is a celebration of ten years of CESG Limited, it is actually an opportunity for us to say thank you to all of our clients for helping us to achieve all that we have across the years.”

He continued to thank friends, partners, advisors and suppliers, ending by paying tribute to the team at CESG, “We genuinely believe the old slogan that our employees are our most valuable asset, and as well as dealing with external challenges, the team at CESG have also had many of their own exciting life challenges, and there have also been less joyous occasions to cope with, such as serious illness and other personal issues, when the team have all rallied around to help each other –  needless to say, I’m very proud of the team here at CESG.”

Following a sumptuous celebratory meal, guests were taken outside to see CEO Neil Carrington fire the ‘Curfew Gun’. Traditionally used daily to call the soldiers back to barracks, the cannon is now only fired for ceremonial and special occasions, with the sound of the shot echoing all around the town.

Donna Reid, Company Founder and Resources Director added, “It’s been an incredible business journey and a lovely evening of celebrations. We’re delighted so many of our friends could celebrate with us tonight and we look forward to continuing the CESG journey for many years to come.”

Combining the best of experience in payroll and personnel management within the marine sector, together with the most up-to-date knowledge of global business and employment regulations, CESG continues to provide a growing world-wide client base with expert advice, global employment and payroll solutions.
