After a year participating and supporting many events in the British capital including shipping ones, the Lyceum of Greek Ladies (Lykeion ton Ellinidon) in London ended the season with a very lively event last Sunday the 9th of July at the crypt of the Saint Sophia, the Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Moscow Road.

The Lykeion continues like no other such group the Greek Culture through series of performances in the United Kingdom; it has many classes teaching Greek folklore dances from all Hellenic regions within Greece as well in neighbouring countries. These traditional dances indeed keep high the moral and offer a uniqueness to all who have attended its performances. We in allaboutshipping.co.uk have among other performances valued their contribution when we witness the applause from the international shipping fraternity who for years have seen them performing at the Hellenic Engineers Society of Great Britain (HESGB) annual event!

With traditional Greek dips and drinks a group of dancers, their instructors and guests had a great afternoon, and what else… performed some dances raising the spirits and preparing us all for the coming season beginning in September when enrolment also begins for the various classes. What a nice way to end the year!

We wish them all have a great summer break!
