Establishment of Restricted Area

A restricted area will be established between 1545 and 1605 hours on 15 & 16 July 2017, in Victoria Harbour off Tsim Sha Tsui to facilitate the functions in connection to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong SAR.

The Restricted Area is formed by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D) and the adjacent shoreline:
(A) 22 deg. 17.575’N / 114 deg. 10.175’E
(B) 22 deg. 17.581’N / 114 deg. 10.488’E
(C) 22 deg. 17.478’N / 114 deg. 10.488’E
(D) 22 deg. 17.478’N / 114 deg. 10.175’E

During the aforementioned period, no vessel, other than Government launches, will be allowed to enter or remain within the Restricted Area; and public landing steps No. 1 to 4 of the Kowloon Public Pier within the Restricted Area will also be closed.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity should keep away from the Restricted Area. Owners, operators, coxswains and person-in-charge of vessels are advised to use other landing facilities in the vicinity during the period of closure.
