Today, 2017 September 8, one year after its ratification, the BWM Convention is finally IN FORCE.

The convention stipulates and requires two standards for discharged ballast water. The D-1 standard covers ballast water exchange while the D-2 standard covers ballast water treatment.

Every ship affected by the BWM Convention must have an International Ballast Water Management Certificate and a Ballast Water Management Plan (BWMP) approved.

In order to meet your relevant needs, we are glad to offer the following two courses:

Both of them are available as IN-HOUSE edition (at your premises upon your kind request) and scheduled on 12nd October 2017 in our Genoa offices (upon your kind enrollment).

Detailed information and registration forms can be found at http://www.rina.org/en/our-services/training/maritime-office/ships-operators in ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION & ENERGY EFFICIENCY section.
