NAMEPA Kicks off 2018 with New Members

NAMEPA welcomes new members,  Dome Chartering & Trading and lightering llc Evidence of the marine industry’s desire and commitment to promote sustainable marine industry best practices

January 3, 2018Carleen Lyden Walker, Co-Founder and Executive Director of North American Marine Environment Protection Association (NAMEPA) announced today that Dome Chartering & Trading and lightering llc have become corporate members of NAMEPA. These companies join NAMEPA to support and participate with other marine industry organizations in our efforts to “Save Our Seas”.

“The increase in membership across the industry enables NAMEPA to build our collaborative efforts in new strategies to preserve the marine environment by promoting sustainable marine industry best practices”, stated NAMEPA’s Carleen Lyden Walker.

Russ Paret, President of Dome stated, “Dome takes pride in our commitment to excellence, integrity, and safety in the maritime industry.  In partnership with NAMEPA, Dome is a proud steward of environmental integrity and protecting our maritime resources for generations to come.”

They join our members who are committed to the stewardship and protection of our seas through corporate social responsibility and public education about the marine industry and protecting the marine environment.”
