Construction of jetties off Jurong Island Causeway
Friday, March 9, 2018, Singapore
The working period has been extended for the construction of jetties off Jurong Island Causeway.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.023 of 2018, the work will now be carried out 24 hours daily – including Sundays and Public Holidays – from 15 March to 14 September, at the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):

The construction of jetties involves piling and concrete structural work. The safety zone is a circular area of 30m radius centered at the jack-up barge. A safety boat will be deployed in the vicinity to warn other craft about the work.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 25 (Pasir Panjang Control);
e) Communicate with Pasir Panjang Control on VHF Channel 25 for assistance, if required.

Dredging in Miah Maull Range, Elbow of Cross Ledge Range & Liston Range
Friday, March 9, 2018, Delaware Bay, United States
Dutra Dredging will be performing dredging operations in Miah Maull Range, Elbow of Cross Ledge Range, and Liston Range, within the Delaware Bay and River, from March 10, 2018 through approximately June 31, 2018.

The clam shell dredge PAULA LEE will be dredging the main navigational channel beginning on the red side of the channel working north and then continuing south on the green side of the channel.

Dredging area is between LAT/LONG 39 deg. 22`14.18″N, 75 deg. 27`40.56″W and 39 deg. 5`3.08″N, 75 deg. 11`10.84″W.

The dredge will be able to move for vessel traffic.

Vessels are requested to contact the dredge 30 minutes prior to arrival to make safe passing arrangements.

The dredge PAULA LEE can be contacted on VHF-FM channel 14 and 82.

There will be an assist vessel and a crew boat working with the dredge PAULA LEE.

Mariners are advised to proceed with caution when transiting the area.
