Sea Parade
Monday, July 30, 2018, Hong Kong

A sea parade comprising about nineteen vessels will take place on 5 August 2018.

Participating vessels will gather at the waters off Central Harbourfront Event Space at about 1300 hours. The parade will start at about 1330 hours to follow an easterly and then westerly route between the waters off Central and Western District Promenades, and disperse at the waters off Central Pier 10 at about 1400 hours.

Marine Department and Marine Police patrol launches will be deployed to regulate marine traffic during the passage of the sea parade.

Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution, give a wide berth to the parade fleet and comply with any direction given by the Marine Department and Marine Police patrol launches.

The Central Pier 10 will be temporarily closed from 1100 hours to 1500 hours on 5 August 2018 to facilitate the sea parade. Owners, operators, coxswains and persons-in-charge of vessels are advised to use other landing facilities in the vicinity during the periods of closure.
