“QUANTITIES INCENTIVE” REBATES FOR LNG CARRIERS

Installation of floating sea barrier off Pa Water-Venture (Pasir Ris)
Wednesday, February 27, 2019, Singapore

From 1 March to 31 August, a floating sea barrier will be installed off PA Water-Venture (Pasir Ris).

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.023 of 2019 dated 26 February 2019, the work will be carried out 24 hours daily – including Sundays & Public Holidays – within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 1 deg. 23.963’N / 103 deg. 55.867’E
2) 1 deg. 24.028’N / 103 deg. 55.953’E
3) 1 deg. 23.907’N / 103 deg. 56.098’E
4) 1 deg. 23.621’N / 103 deg. 56.289’E
5) 1 deg. 23.385’N / 103 deg. 56.517’E
6) 1 deg. 23.144’N / 103 deg. 56.914’E
7) 1 deg. 22.004’N / 103 deg. 57.724’E
8) 1 deg. 22.951’N / 103 deg. 57.716’E
9) 1 deg. 23.095’N / 103 deg. 56.891’E
10) 1 deg. 23.344’N / 103 deg. 56.483’E

Installation of floating sea barrier will be carried out using crane and work barges. These barges will be assisted by tugs. Safety boats will be deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working area.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 21 (Sembawang Control);
and
e) Communicate with Sembawang Control on VHF Channel 21 for assistance, if required.

From 1 March to 31 August, a floating sea barrier will be installed off Changi Beach Park.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.022 of 2019 dated 26 February 2019, the works will be carried out 24 hours daily – including Sundays & Public Holidays – within the working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 01 deg. 23.271’N / 104 deg. 0.194’E
2) 01 deg. 22.903’N / 104 deg. 0.428’E
3) 01 deg. 22.535’N / 104 deg. 0.510’E
4) 01 deg. 22.431’N / 104 deg. 0.488’E
5) 01 deg. 22.436’N / 104 deg. 0.423’E
6) 01 deg. 22.533’N / 104 deg. 0.456’E
7) 01 deg. 22.898’N / 104 deg. 0.373’E
8) 01 deg. 23.263’N / 104 deg. 0.139’E

following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 1 deg. 18.618’N / 103 deg. 59.844’E
2) 1 deg. 18.611’N / 103 deg. 59.863’E
3) 1 deg. 18.661’N / 103 deg. 59.884’E
4) 1 deg. 18.668’N / 103 deg. 59.867’E

“Quantities incentive” rebates for LNG carriers
Wednesday, February 27, 2019, Suez Canal, Egypt

Clients’ Liquefied Natural Gas carriers transporting additional quantities of LNG through the Suez Canal shall be granted “Quantities Incentive” Rebates as follows:

a) Clients shall be granted a 5% rebate for each carrier’s round-trip, if the total LNG quantities transported by the client exceeded one million metric tons up to three million metric tons within one year from the beginning of the contract with Suez Canal Authority.

b) Clients shall be granted a 7% rebate for each carrier’s round-trip, if the total LNG quantities transported by the client exceeded three million metric tons up to ten million metric tons within one year from the beginning of the contract with Suez Canal Authority.

c) Clients shall be granted a 10% rebate for each carrier’s round-trip, if the total LNG quantities transported by the client exceeded ten million metric tons within one year from the beginning of the contract with Suez Canal Authority.

The afore mentioned rebates shall be calculated from Suez Canal normal tolls after deducting the rebate percentage of 25% which is granted by circular No.2/2015.

It is not allowed to benefit from both the “Quantities Incentive” Rebate and that granted by circular no. 07/2017

This circular shall be applied to “Quantities Incentive” Files initiated after its issuance date.
