Yesterday morning (7 February), it was reported that a partially submerged push boat under tow in the Corpus Christi ship channel had fully sunk and was in the vicinity of light 33. The boat is marked by a PFD (lifejacket) tied to the boat.

Two outbound vessels were diverted to the MODA Midstream Terminal, and the channel was closed to all traffic.
